Something that I believe is essential to happiness as a human is hobbies. But when you're sick, busy, tired, or in pain, hobbies become less and less important to you. So you get into a very unhealthy cycle of working, resting, and watching t.v.. And while those can be healthy for you, in unhealthy amounts they can harm you more than anything. That's why it's so important to practice your hobbies, even when you feel tired. Because 9/10 I truly believe they will make you feel better than anything else. I’ve been struggling with not taking time for my hobbies for so long. It was after a big long-lasting fibro flare a couple of years ago that I just stopped participating in all the hobbies that make me happy. And while at first I truly wasn’t well enough to do any of my hobbies. I could and should have taken the time and energy to jump back into my hobbies. Without them, my life has felt unbalanced and unhealthy. It's so important to do things that make you happy. Whether that be dancing, painting, knitting, hiking, and writing. Just take the time to do things that make you happy and your life will feel more balanced and happy!
